Hey miss,
How are you?
Guri came back from his comuna. It was his second week over there. He and his friends first decided to stay there for over the first month without coming home. But they broke down, one after another and they all went home. They needed some money to start with (they have to pay their own bills, food and entertainment), so they started working as waitress in catering.

Yoni felt a little bad so we started to laugh at her that she’s a pig and got the flu. At first they didn’t want to call it the pig flu, because we don’t eat pigs. Don’t ask me what it got to do with it, Except the fact that the minister of health is religious….

Fatma had a seminar in the scouts because she’s adult and will guide that year. Of course they talk about a lot of things: like how that year will look like, and after they got tired they went to the swimming pool 🙂

I spent that weekend a lot of time with my “brother’s in low” brother, We went to a club at Thursday, we paid a lot more then we meant to pay but we got good music – kind of music I have never in clubs before. He picked up a girl but give up about her when he found out she’s living far from where he’s going to study.

Saturday, today, we went on extreme hiking in Darga stream (Nahal Darga)  canyon. It is in the desert, but because the canyon is so deep, the sun almost doesn’t hit it and it is chilly. That way those pools (called in Hebrew “Gebim” – the ending “im” stands for plural), stays almost all the summer. So we: climbed, slipped, got wet (you have to swim in those pools to go forward), slide, got dry, walked, jumped, got wet again, rappelling, took pictures and had fun in general.

In the end we wanted to to hitchhike back to the car which we left on top of Darga stream, but no one came. So we stared to climb all the way back on a road (400 m!) up in the middle of the day at the desert – that was hot, But we saw so many animals on the way it was worth it

One of my friends broke apart from his girlfriend, he met her in Greece when he and I had a vacation there, over 3 years ago. And they were  friends since then. I haven’t talk with him yet, although it happened yesterday. I guess we are not close as we used to be, and he just has to say it to me so I won’t hear it from other people. The fact is that I can’t give him any advice about that (I have no experience at all in those issues), all I can give him is an open ear and nothing more.

That afternoon the house was full – over 12 people: each one has a guest/friend/girlfriend. So much noise.

Take care.
Gad
