Hi,
I am waiting to aboard the plane, we gonna have 22 hours of flights today and a couple more tomorrow (we are going Tel Aviv – Tashkent – Delhi – Katmandu).
We were afraid we would have problems sending the pieces of the dome in the plane. But Shon was smart enough to put a Technion stamp on it, so the security man just asked a few friendly questions and let as pass.
Ima and Aba came to say goodbye. Of course Ima acted as she always acts when she’s in a place where smoking is forbidden. She smokes Like a teenager in the toilet 🙂
Bibi, our prime minister, promised Obama to freeze the building in the west bank for 10 months. That includes the building of our house in Har Adar. As it seems now – I will finish my studies as a construction engineer and will build my parents house… :-).
Ima cousin found his half lost sister in Lithuania and brought her here for a vacation. Ima said it was weird – The people from former Soviet Union (we generally consider it Russia) that we know are of two kinds: Jews that came immigrated from Russia (most of them had studied in the university) and the Russians tourists. Both of those groups are educated that way or the other. When Ima tried to explain that woman the stories of the bible or the new testament – she knew nothing of them. That Russia we don’t knew: She is working in a factory for 17 years, and got married for 3 times already.
I think about that again – I’m going to Nepal and I feel nothing, A friend of mine died in a car accident and I fell nothing. But when your name came up my screen and I think I might see you again – Bang! all the feelings in one second…
I had just finished our national sport in Israel – Duty free shopping (that a kind of sport I’m sure you would like). People are flying aboard more for the shopping and less for the trip 🙂
