Well we are about to land in Delhi, we gonna spend there 18 hours over there. We will probably pick up a taxi downtown and find ourselves a good meal and a soft bed. Shon had traveled in India and Nepal on a bike so he’ll guide us in the city, as he pretty much did in Katmandu. The morning in Katmandu was reserved to a meeting with the BSP people that were with us in Namsaling. Due to the fact that their flight had been delayed (Mmmmm… that sound familiar….), we had more time to buy more stuff, eat a nice breakfast, take a shower in a not-cold not-hot water, eat another breakfast (that sound like a vacation already…), take our money from the travel agency, pack ourselves and leave to the airport.

We were accompanied by Devin, the guy from EWB Colorado. We finally met him yesterday, he came to the pizza restaurant following the note we had left him in the hands of the guard of the guest house. We did it after we were picking and annoying everybody that went in and out of the guest house 🙂 after understanding we won’t find him, we decided to focus on the real important goals of this delegation – where we should eat 🙂 He showed up after we sat down. He took a taxi from his brother house that bought a one way ticket to Nepal and is now teaching English to Nepali children.

He is a nice guy, but talking with him on EWB Colorado was pretty dispersing. It was Joe that really talk with him on the project we want to work on with them – Bio-gas reactors in Ilam hospital. We talked with him in generally on how they have worked till now. In one word – Bad. Not organized, not professional, but then again neither are we….

All day we were walking around in Katmandu, looking for hot spots for the iPod. Each time we sat down in a place like that someone was talking in his Skype with someone. I called my aunt. Ima said she got some checks to be done. She told me that the doctors aren’t so optimistic about her. To tell you the truth – I afraid she got cancer or something like that 🙁

pretty surprising it ended up in another night of drinking too much (Joe said that we will have to give our liver a vacation after that vacation). We brought up some really nice ideas for building the dome in a co-exciting ways. We will start to work as soon as we come back (and just after I will catch up with all the studies I had missed and finish my crazy as hell time of tests).

The checks in in Katmandu airport were longest I have ever had. Pretty funny, because we had the shortest check in when we flew to Badraphur in domestic flight. It’s probably because of the attempt to kidnap a flight to Detroit couple of days ago.

Take Care
Gad
