Hi ,

I had my last test on Thursday in Geomechnics. The lecturer gave us a test that he gave in 2003, and we all already solved so it was easy for us all 🙂

After that I grubbed my niece brother, and we went for an hike. We looked for a place called Hazaz caves. It was a fortress of the Maccabees Jewish warriors, during their rebellion against the Roman conquests during the first century AC. Afterwards my friend from school joined us and we walked around in the hills of Beit Govrin. This place is full of natural caves in the soft chalk stone. We walked around the hills trying to avoid all the people and their noisy jeeps. The all place is closed for civilians during weekdays for military practices. That is shame because so many flowers are blooming now over there: Turban buttercup, the, the and also the “evil” nittle.

The friend that joined us,was pretty happy. Why shouldn’t he when we hiked in such a wonderful place? Well, at that time he was supposed to be skying in the snowy mountains of Slovakia with his family. When he gave the policeman his passport he took him aside and didn’t let him on the plane. His family flew while he was sent for the military prison for the night. Apparently he ran away from the military reserve, just to make things organized: he was a fighter and got injured during the last war so when they let him off the army they told him he won’t have to do reserve. Now they told him that letters has been sent to him and he didn’t got it. So they judged him and of course he was found not guilty and was sent home. He hiked with us with hope he’ll find flight on Sunday and join his family 🙂

Take care
Gad
