Judean desert, Israel
Hi
Well where was I was today? Oh the Desert. Yep, It’s so nice to see him blooming now that I have to go there, while it’s still green (at least a bit green…), and there are still some water in the valleys (some water…).
That time I went to a small valley called Salvadora creek. It’s named after the tree that stand there – דurprise: a Salvadora tree. It’s a tree that that grow in the desert, but here it’s huge. That because it’s growing on top of a spring. Nobody know about that spring until 1991 (maybe the Bedouins know but they didn’t tell us – the Jews…). In that year a hiker was lost some miles north of it. After searching all the area – the family decided to ask a witch from Holland. She told them that they will find him near a spring some miles south to where he he hiked – nobody believed her because nobody knew about the spring.
They went and searched again – and found the spring, but not the hiker…
Ima had a birthday – she baked herself some wonderful cakes. And we bought her some presents basically some cosmetics. After dinner, when she went to the toilet, we filled the salon with balloons to surprise her. So until that evening you still had to see you don’t step on a balloon when you go somewhere…
Take care
