Barcelona, Spain
The first thing that I felt when I saw the terminal building, when we got there at 1:30 AM, was that it is an evil place, a bad one. “I can’t say why” I said to my half sleeping friends, “but I hate this place.”
Half an hour later my friend looked at me and said “you were right – it is a bad place”.
First thing we went to the toilets – they had bad smell. It was like someone shit and didn’t flash. Someone did shit, but on top of the toilet as to say “You shit on me – I shit on you.”
And they did shit on us. For no seen reason – no one was allowed to sleep on the floor. “they are sits, use them.” We were not homeless because at that hours everyone that got into the terminal were checked to had ticket.
Cops kept that the law was kept. After we finally found an empty sit, we laid underneath it, on our field mattress. We were awaken very fast – “we can see you” said the cop, “on the sits only”.
So we moved to be on the sits – put the bag in front of the sit so we can lie our feet on it. The cop on the sagway came back very fast – “No”.
So we did what left – try to curve our body around the armrest to try to get some sleep from what left from our night.
I admit I don’t know why they did it, but it was cruel…
