Judean desert, Israel – Tamar, Tzafit and Peres streams

It was Passover, meaning that people will be everywhere around Israel.
So we choose the place where the least person will be in – The desert. Judean desert.
But in Israel, even nowhere, is somewhere. And we found people even there.
I have lot of pictures but just a few more words.
We went up Tamar stream and Tzafit stream, and went down Peres stream. Both end up in the dead sea in a very stiff way in their last kilometers making wonderful canyons.
Like most of the desert streams, they don’t have waters except when it is raining. Nahal Tamar (Tamar stream) is 15 km long, but you only walk the last few. Or better say – climb 
. As there are falls up to 20m high.
If it is not sounds extreme enough for you, the entrance is a trail going through minefield… fenced and marked… but still a minefield. So just walk safely.
