Eilat, Israel
I once wrote you about that Eilat, the city I’m in right now. It was when my elder sister and her husband went there for a vacation.
But it was from the point of view of man who never understand that place. I’ve been here couple of times in my life: The annual trip from school on 11th grade, When I have finished Israel trek and about a year ago for a student vacation.
Come to think about it, it was not Eilat I didn’t connect to, but The idea of a vacation in general.
That Idea of doing completely nothing, without any real purpose was a waste for me. I can think of couple of reasons that now makes me feel that it isn’t a waste of time.
First is Atzva, my girlfriend, that real upgrade the idea of a vacation in which you can stay in bed till late, but in the other hand you can stay in bed till late … 😉
Second was that we did stuff – we went to see where Atzva’s sister works (she grows fish), dive in the red sea, went to the observatory and had really good food. we did stuff means it isn’t a waste of time 🙂
