Madonna di Campiglio,
Italy.
Wow picture this!
Oh take another shoot of this!
This is how I, and I sure many other people spend their vacations – looking around through the camera. Instead of taking time to relax and enjoy the views, the smell, the atmosphere, and the general feeling you can put into pictures.
For me it is a way to say I really look at the object (view, building, people…), and take time to observe it’s meanings…
It’s bullshit, we both knew it.
Most of the time you play with the camera trying to make the best picture, knowing you can find one better in the web.
That’s why I try to take pictures following Aba Agenda: You will find better pictures in the books (or in the internet if we take it into our days), but what you can’t find is you in the picture (If you don’t take into account Photoshop =). And that’s really makes a different! Instead of another not so good picture, you have someone you know in it. And that might help doing what those pictures meant to do in first place: to remember….

Gad
The mountain to the east of Madonna di Campiglio
Wow! Hunters, we have to picture it
We still have to go up, and those people run up!…
Down there, is Madonna di Campiglio
The ridge to the east of Madonna di Campiglio
A trail sign near Lake (Lago) Ritorto
The fall of the stream from Lake (Lago) Ritorto
Look at that! Someone died here while he walked with his sheep! we must picture it
That is the problem that your girlfriend teach Geology, we have to picture stones =)
The lower fall at Val di Rabbi
The toilets at the middle of the forest.
The best table in the nature restaurant
And more stones for my girlfriend class
The shoes hurt her, so my girlfriend decided to walk with sandals (with socks so it won’t too cold) =)
“It’s like they asked a 4 years old child to draw someone fall off a motorcycle…” =)
