HAPOEL KATAMON in the second league!!

After only 4 years the team is running, we are already in second league of football of Israel! =)

The Idea was to put some sense of the owner of our home football team – Hapoel Jerusalem. They refused to leave, even after the dropped 3 leagues in four years!
So we built our own team, started from the bottom – without nobody that own the team and do what ever he wants. This our team, the fans’ team.

I announced Atzva (my girlfriend) in the middle of the season that if there is a chance we will qualified she will come with me to the last game of the season – The Championship game =). She came with me (She wear a red shirt, as our color, but brought a book to read ’cause she was sure it will be so boring) and even enjoyed the game.

Katamon and Maccabi Jaffa had the same amount of points, and same goal difference. But we were playing against the last team in the table, that was sure to drop the league (and most likely to break apart anyway): Jaffa won 3-2, and we got 9-1!

We were afraid they won’t come and play against us (in that case we would have won a technical won 3-0). But anyway we, even with the technical won, would have qualified. They say it isn’t fair we were playing against such a weal team, but they bit them 8-2 couple of months back.
