8th Day of Operation Protective Edge
There was cease fire at 9:00…
I mean to say we ceased our fire for 6 hours, while Gaza militants kept firing rockets all over Israel.
After Operation Pillar of Defense and other operations, Hamas usually keep bombing Israel a couple of days farther. Just to present itself as the one that ended the fire and had a victory over Israel.
At first, it seemed to be the same case today. But as the day grew old, more and more rockets were fired by Hamas. It might have been also to let Egypt see (that see Hamas as an enemy) she cannot control it.
At the evening we have suffered our first dead – a volunteer that died from shrapnel of mortar shell
Now that Hamas had rejected the agreement, more than 40,000 IDF soldiers are waiting outside Gaza strip to end that Operation with a victory.
