Ein Gedi, Israel
Hi,
It was one fine good sleeping in the field, so we come up and decided to take a hike with a bit more water than yesterday… in Ein Gedi =)
Take Care
Gad
Good morning! Atzva watching the early sky with Mika, the she-dog of the other couple that slept next to us
That’s what I’m talking about!
See how big it is? How wide and long?!
We made a small step to view the Small Maktesh =)
You can see to the right where Hatzera stream is going out of the Makhtesh.
And we are in Ein Gedi! after 2 hours of driving….
It seems we had to walk a little bit more than we planed. Ein Gedi
At first this creek looks like any other creek in the Judaean Desert – dry with a bit of green…
…But then you get to the stream =)
And find yourself in front of special springs like that
While you walk in the middle of the desert – below high cliffs and big rocks
with dozens of Ibexes walking above you (try to find them in the pics first, only after watch the video).
And the cherry in the cream – Arogot waterfall. Unlike the one in En Ovdat, we can get into it =)
Going back on the red trail (we went up with the blue trail) which doesn’t get into the water, that way you get back faster.
The red trail also go up to the upper ponds in Arogot stream, which We didn’t have time for.
Well, it seems that those sandals have done theirs
I want to dedicate this song for my sandals that passed away
The Ibex herd going back to the mountains in the end of the day
Yep, it seems that those has served their duty.
Hi! I didn’t throw the old ones away and jump to buy new ones…
I still have them, and the I bought the new ones 3 months ago…
