Now that Jannaeus is big enough and Atzva is going to work, I have a day I stay at home and keep an eye on Jannaeus. I also work at this day – meaning I hold him on one hand, hit the keyboard with my the other hand and hold the phone the my ear with my shoulder…. At least sometimes my parents come and help with him in part of the time…
Anyway, one of the most satisfying things while staying at home with my baby is…. to let him eat! Because we still want him breastfeeding him, you have to feed him from a bottle in a certain way. You hold him just like he eats from his mother chest. It really makes you feel connected with him, and help me realize how much breastfeeding is important for Atzva.
It kind of reminds me what was happening during our long walks during our military service. When I become a squad commander, I realized most of my friend (who were also commanders) didn’t took water or ammunition on them. The didn’t like the idea to do them same 25km walk and to suffer like they were privates in basic training. So what did they do when they were thirsty? they come and ask to drink from my water bag…. This made me feel like I feed my offspring…
