They call it the “Parents holiday”, the day the long summer vacation is over in the kids are back to school. It was our first 1st in September for me and Atzva, the first year we experience in as parents.
The difference is that our kid doesn’t go back to school or to kindergarten, he will go there for his first time.
We are both excited and terrified from what will happen. We just gonna leave our baby with someone we didn’t know until a month ago? how that supposed to work?!
He is only 8 months old and we are sending him out of the house? he is so small!
On the other hand he grew so much in those 8 months, and so fast. He just barely started to crawl, and today he stood up for the first time!
We went to our first parents day in Wednesday and all that hit me. I tried not to think about it so I want have to sit down and cry =/ What also hit me was the fact, that I’m no longer Gad – I am Jannaeus aba! The Arab are calling a person with kids on the name of his elder son. This is there are so many Arab names that goes as abu-something (Ahmed, Yusuf, Muhamad….). Now I understand why…. Things are longer about me, but about my son.
