This west bank area is like Antarctica.
It is freezing cold here (at least now). We were hoping to get some snow, but when it got cold enough there was now rain, that what usually happens in the mountains of Judea and Samaria. (and also in South Mount Hebron were we sit), And when it rain it isn’t cold enough.
But it is not the reason why this area is like Antarctica. Those are the only two places on Earth that does not belong to any country. Many times people got mad when they see the map of Israel without the west bank, but things are clear: the West bank is does not belong to Israel, nor to any other country.
So who rules in the west bank? well, the IDF. And to be clear – Major General of the Center command. The general and the army cannot really function as the ruler and give all the needed services to the population – both the Jewish settlers an the Palestinians. This, as you may understand causes a mess.
The roads for example – there is almost no police on the roads around here. What causes the roads to be dangerous as the Wild west…
