It is finally here!
Giro d’Italia in Israel 🙂
We have a road cycling sitting in the cubicle in factory. So from a sport event I barely knew about, I get more exciting than my wedding day (as a figure of speech 😉
Today was the day before the big start – the presentation of the groups in the city hall square in Jerusalem (Safra square).
This will follow by 3 days of the great opening in Israel:
– Stage 1 (map): A run against the watch in Jerusalem
– Stage 2 (map): Haifa to Acre and to Tel-Aviv. This will pass just by my house, so I will definitely go out and see it 🙂
-Stage 3 (map): Be’er Sheva to Eilat
I hope everything will go smooth and the race will increase the tourism in Israel and will help our public relationships =).
But this is not just a piece of history for Israel, but also for the race. It is the first time it ever left Europe!
