Damage to column in a building in Tiberias from hamal website - earthquake

Week 19 with the girl & Light earthquake

Hi,
Today there was another set of earthquake events in Israel, kind of those that can be felt (above 3.5 usually). And the papers are full of catastrophic scenarios of the amount of dead. The Ultra-religious KM keep blaming the non-religious people in it.

And for me – I am aware of it that the house I lives in will not stand a moderate earthquake. When you realize that I specialized in retrofit buildings against earthquakes. Like most of the buildings in Ramat Gan, it is box on legs. Well more accurate to say: a matchbox on matches. And until it will be retrofitted or rebuild (a process refereed to as TAMA 38)

It kind like a doctor that smokes. I fully realize the dangers, but somehow manage to put them a side and keep leaving (that called Cognitive dissonance).

Unlike with Jannaeus, this pregnancy is kind of a sidekick. When you have fully operational baby one and a half years old, the black and white ultrasound pics are not so excited.

But when she start to kick… Well that something completely different. Now things getting real! We thinking on names,  we end up with one name. And then change it to another. And by accident (if you’ll ask Atzva…) the first name is the private name, and the  other is the family name of right-wing  politician from the party Atzva votes for…. 🙂

Take care
Gad
