Hi,
The centaurs’ path is a magical hiking route near Portiria. Although you walk up a bit stiff ascent, the path is shaded and cold. Jannaeus, a year an 7 months, and Atzava on her 6th month of pregnant walked it easily. The only problem was to walk back down on the road, but a shortcut an elderly non-English speaker woman insisted we’ll take solved that problem 😃.
We woke up this morning and started our journey from Pelion toward Athens. The way is about 5 hours long and we decided break it into 2 days. We had to fill the first day with some entrainment. The Centaurs’ path with launch in one of Portaria resturants was the stop we needed along the long way down to Athens.
We slept the night in Arches, a small fisherman town. A walk along the clean water to the Taverna area, fish dinner and ice cream for dessert gave us a nice evening outside 😀.
I must say that the clear water really amazed me. I am used that places used for docking of boats are polluted with oil. But here the water were cleared and people were swimming in 😀.
We spent the night on a tree house. We ordered a tent in Nisi camping and got the tree house 🙂. Atzva suddenly realized that camping in 6th month might not have been the best the idea, but the place was fun enough to make her relax.
