It took Jannaeus so time but we finally see his regression.
It is a good thing we are happy to see, but it is a normal way of toddlers and small kids to deal with having a new born baby 👶 in the family.
That regression comes in many ways, but the name represents clearly what happens: Jannaeus just retreat in his mental abilities. He talks less, cry more, need us to feed him, sleeps less good, sometimes crawl and want to be carried on his parents hands. We avoided from starting Jannaeus toilet training from diapers because we knew it will come, and might need to deal with pee and poo in the cloths again. So we postponed it until after Mindal comes 😬.
I assume it is more of a choice and not something that breaks inside 😃
I can assume it comes from the toddlers demand for attention that was taken from him by the new born baby. But a toddler that can talk, walk and pee in the toilet choose to cry, crawl and pee in the diaper – just annoy you as a parent. You have to keep and to remind yourself that he is only two years old. A small and cute toddler that learns to talk.
On top of it you have the Horrible Two Years Old Age. What makes hard to look at him as a sweet, small toddler.
