Hi,
No doubt the Coronavirus pandemic and guidelines and curfew that follow it have had major impact on our life. In general I may say we got used to it pretty quickly, except one thing – the hygiene.
If I may testify on myself – I don’t really keep on hygiene. I am not filthy, I take daily showers, wash my hands before eating and after toilets.
But that is about it. I am not washing fruits and vegetables and other food products before get them into my refrigerator. Something we started doing, as well as washing any product we got on the supermarket delivery.
I can say even more than that – I don’t care eating leftovers. Not home leftovers, but street leftovers. I think that is really what “street food” means 😉.
As a kid I hope to have a magic force that every candy wrap or snack pack thrown on the street can be refilled. And you know what? sometimes those wraps or pack are full! 😁
In the IDF, I think I realize Donnie is my friend when he told on his unique lesson he gave on commanders course when he was asked for: he took the base Shekem (cantina) garbage in spill it on the class floor. He then show how he can arrange a full lunch from the leftovers he found there
As you realize I can longer do it. I cannot even collect other things from the streets (people throw crazy shit here 😱). Those at least I can put in insulation for couple of days and can see if it worth anything 🙂
