Dalyot stream and Bazelet waterfall 💧

Hi,
The battalion camped on Dalyot camping site and I went on a little morning hike to Dalyot stream (Nahal Dalyot) and Bazelet waterfall.

The military reserve training is on Golan heights, what gives plenty of opportunities to see and visit new places 🙂.

Both of the streams starts around at Bardela and Mansura springs near Mount Peres at the southern part of Golan heights.

Bazelet stream (Basalt in Hebrew) flows into Dalyot stream, and the lower part is a swamp called the Majrasa, a nice hiking route by itself.

I crossed Dalyot stream and walked above the canyon the stream creates as it goes down to Kinneret lake.

The canyon reavles the two layers of rock the Golan Heights is made of: some dozens of Basalt rock over Limestone. In places where you can see the it clearly it is a beautiful view a black of the Basalt over the white of the limestone.
