We joined our next door building composter: first we started throwing our organic waste in it and second we gather the compost from it for our garden 
.
The composter is given away by Ramat-Gan municipality. I wished to have one for our building, but I was too late and we are on waiting list.
One of the works I had during my undergraduate studies in the Technion were to keep the composters running: See that people throws in the right waste and see they still standing each morning.
Why shouldn’t they? One of it was daily turned over and always thought it is because the cars hit it. Until the composter (which was half full) standing outside my window was turn over and cleaned!
Someone turned it over and picked up everything – about half a ton of Organic material! The ground was clear, not even a pill of an apple was left… Those were of course Haifa boars 
(this was far before Coronairus)
Here we don’t have boars, only jackals. They do run underneath our building (1 km from the park where they live, and making Xuxa go crazy each time) – but they are still not rude as the boars, for now…

The compuster in our next door building. Like many of Ramat-Gan old buildings, its ground level is opened and the rest of the floors standing on columns. What allows to have gardens and locate the composted in it.
