Hi,
The drafting order I got (by mail) said Tebez, but the we went over it and ended on a base called Tasir, or as it better known Hamam El-Maliach base.
It used to be Paratroopers Brigade advanced training base. When I realized this is where I am, I remembered the stories of a friend of how the Arabs used to shoot them at nights from the school, it took my a while to find the school.
The name Hamam El-Maliach means salty hot bathtub and refer to the hot and salty spring near by. I thought of going in and take some pictures, but Bedouins are sitting on it, and it might not be such a good idea to jump in with uniforms…
I had visited the blog Back Window, I like and found a post on the place from 2015. I looked on the pictures, but did not think I will end up over there. The place is even worse then what shown there.
Take Care
