I don’t if you have a air show there in California, but here the Independence day air show is one of this day symbols here in Israel.
One of the best places, if not the best to watch it, is the beach: most of of the air show is along the shore, the air maneuvers are here and you have a clear view over the planes (no trees or buildings on the way) 
So we decided to ride with the kids to Tel Aviv Port and watch it. The first time ever I took action to go out and watch it
This was the reason I went over the airplane in the list so I can recognize them in real time. And what can I tell, even then I was not so good at this.
Jannaeus was more excited of the fact it is our first visit to the beach this bathing season. He run in and out of the water, washing his feet.
Mindal was also into the sand. Literally into the sand as crawl in it and look for seashell she was asked to pick for her uncle mother in law.
Independence day air show was on Thursday so we have a long weekend. We will pack ourselves and have some hikes and camping on the North
