Hi,
This how this war/operation looks like – bombing buildings , structures , infrastructure and terror tunnels.

It is nowhere near the demolishing buildings on west bank that had told you about back when I was in reserve duty. There it was done with excavators and bulldozer. On Gaza strip it is done with explosives or bombs, and many of those.

My ex-squdron commander in reserve duty used to work on explosives company.

He used to teach us on how it is done. How complicated it is to blow up an house without any collateral damage. How it is need to be done so the building will collapse vertically and not tilt to the side.

Back when my company, when we were on advanced training to Gaza strip, we were sent to help blow up 20 story building just outside Netzarim settlement. We were driving some 20 APC full of explosives and people. How dangerous it has been: One anti-tank missile and we would all gone kaput (as happened some 4 months later…).

Looking on the videos of the bombing of Gaza strip buildings, you cannot be amazed how precise the target and amount of explosives has to be to create the effect of this vertical and accurate collapse.
