Everybody is keep talking about the Victory picture. As if this picture is what going to finish this war. This war, as all the operations and war before it, won’t finish with a victory. As no side will conquer the other (Israel will not conquer Gaza strip, it has nothing to do with it).
While people are hiding in shelters, buried under demolished building, killed by bombs, explosives. Hamas and our government are looking for the picture that will show the world “we have won!”.
Is if the corpse of Mohammed Deif, Hamas leader, will make Hamas surrender and stop bombing Israel. Or a picture of a successful terror attack on a settlement around Gaza strip will Make Israel to stop bomb Gaza.
On the contrary – It seems that kind of a Victory picture will just drive the other side to attack more. To kill more, to find his Winning picture of the war.
In the meanwhile a picture shot by Anas Baba (of AFP) became the winning picture of the Internet. At least this. She became a meme all over…
Maybe it is a victory picture. On the right there are the low-tech rockets shots to Israel from Gaza strip, while on the left you see the high-tech Iron Dome technology protecting Israel from those rockets in what looks like a dance of stars.
