I don’t know if you got vaccinated (I guess you did as you are a smart girl and California is pushing towards it). We got the vaccination, as I wrote you (here, here and here), and we have a dilema over kids vaccination as we had to take Jannaeus to get his.
Not much of a dilema in fact. On one hand there is the long Coronavirus effects (long Covid or PIMS) and science. on the other hand there are there the anti-vaccination which (some only against kids vaccination) … well, I could not found any good reason they had pulled up against it.
Any way, we had to wait a bit for him to recover from his adenoid removal surgery.
Meanwhile the Omicrom get us to very high new cases but it seems we are over the fifth wave peak, at least for new cases (now only 60,000 a day, when a week ago it was at max with 80,000). Some say the hard cases will get to peak probably in 3 weeks. But if it is the same as the other waves and variants, we are also at the peak of hard cases (1,150 today).
According to my brother in law, the Omicrom is not as bad as the Delta. The hard hospitliazed cases are the same thta would been in this place even if they would have got the flu. That at least lower down the fear from the peak to come.
