Hi,
It finally got us, this cursed virus, the Covid-19, as Mindal got it. Aba and Ima got it when coming back from their vacation on Egypt, and Fatma got it long time ago (on the 2nd wave if I am not wrong). But it is the first time one of our core family got it.
It comes on a bad timing as I just been out for a military reserve training. Or as Atzva mentioned, each time I am out for reserve – “something that my assistant in will be very appreciated” happens….
There is nothing new about the home quarantine she will be put in, except for the fact it was reduced to only 5 days. And it based on positive antigen test, done by one of the authorities.
Somehow It did not crossed on the minds of my fellow friends to the company that I need to be tested as well. But Atzva was focused enough to send me over to find one. There was no Antigen check for reserve soldiers on the base and drove over to Katzrin to find one.
Apparently it is not such a simple task. I did find a pack of 20 in the supermarket that opened on 8;00, a pack of 8 on the pharmacy of a medical center that opened on 9:00 and would have find a single test on a private pharmacy that would open on 10:00. I decided to say hello to my brother in law that works in the municipality, and he pulled out a test for me when he asked what I was doing here.
It reminds me the tine Aba was looking for hiking shoes for in Mitzpe Ramon, when I was trekking Israel National Trail after my mandatory military reserve in the IDF. The shoes tore apart and wish to buy me shoes for the rest of the trek, but he could only find flip-flops on the supermarket.

And Atzva also got it… I came back early from reserve and she just broke down ( we thought it is only allergic reaction) and slept till 11:00, woke up and tested positive – 31.03.2022
