The players at the end of the show - Perfect Strangers

Perfect Strangers

Hi,
We went to see the theather play Perfect Strangers. After being to the play Girlfriends club about a month ago (after I have not to been to a theather since our honey moon)

It is a comic drama based on an Italian film from (There is also Israeli movie from 2021) and it tells the story of a group of middle age friends and their wives who meet for a dinner and to watch a lunar eclipse, and decide to play a game – everybody read aloud the SMS/watsapp massages they got and make their phone calls on speaker.

That is of course leads to unhidden secretes, unspoken issues between the couples and between the friends. It was written good and made us laugh and think. Tomer Sharon was a lead actor and play it very good, made us laugh even more.

Atzva ordered some last minute tickets and we found ourselves in HaBima theather (at least for me it was the first place). It is consider to be Israel national theather. And as one you have piano playing at the entrance and exit at the lobby.

The building was renovated couple of years ago and a new underground parking lot was constructed underneath HaBima square. I was intrested in the tall concrete columns and glass facade (we are planning similar elements in one of our projects).

Near the theather stands the culture hall. I have a memory that we were in a summer show when I was twelve with Nathan (who was 10 yeas old) and Guri (who was 6 years old old). It was the big vacation show and were supposed to wait for my aunt to pick us up. For some reason I remember we started walking to her house which was about 3.5 km away. There were no cellphone and she could not know where we are, but she found us a km away from and oh boy how she yelled at us and hug us at the same time.

Take Care
Gad

Going down to underground parking reminded me the way down to NYC subway and made me think what will happen when we will go down the undergound stations of Tel Aviv light railway
