Hi,
We decided to spend the last weekend of the holidays camping with friends. Everything was fully booked in advance, but we did manage to find a place in Kfar HaNokdim.
The place is located in the Negev desert between Arad and Masada (where we plan to visit on Sabbath) and it has a lot of activities to entertain the kids.
I visited the place and slept here once during a two day trek we did from Arad to Masada. We were a friend from the army and the girlfriend of his friend. My friend told me later he could not sleep as he was staring in the girl breast all night…
Take Care
Gad
The site has carts to easily transport you belongings, I did not think we needed it, but apparently, we do have a lot of things…
The entrance to the village with small shops on the sides like a bazzar
There is no reception on site. Yes, you do get used to it 🙂
There are several hiking trails around the place. There is a full day schedule for free activities: tours (with closed shoes), a water party, Just dance, campfire stories and marshmallows, visiting the Camel farm, etc.
Some activities for the kids with additional charge: bottles with sands, colorful dreads, Henna tattos, etc.
Jannaeus and Mindal making bottles with layers of colorful sand did keep them busy for ten minutes
The main camping square of Kfar HaNokdim, where you make campfire at night
Sukka for Sukkot
The breakfast buffet, it was worth the additional charge
The toilets and shower building
We were sleeping on our tents, but there are other options as this huge tent
The camel farm with some interesting info on those animels
We closed the day with Atzva Pojitke, delicious as always
