Hi,
Dub is out 馃檪 Healthy as his elder brother and sister are, and big as his elder brother (two days, and he already does not fit into the newborn diapers and cloths).
It was at Atzva 3rd delivery (and 3rd pregnancy as the nurse kept telling us), and it was not like any of the others. We got in the morning, but as she showed no progress, we were sent home.
In the evening, we called Aba to come and sleep with the kids as Atzva felt she was about to give birth. She was not. There was no progress, and as we were about to be sent home, the doctor asked Atzva if she wished to get the baby today. As she said yes, he helped her and sent us to the delivery room.
As it happened with Mindal, it progressed so fast Atzva did not have the time to use Apidural and she gave birth to our new son Dub at 2:22 at weight of 3.755 kg (like Jannaeus).
It took time until visitors started to arrive (the longest time), but it allowed Atzva to rest a bit and to us to enjoy Dub alone.
Take Care
Gad
The delivery room, room 11, in Lis Maternity and Women’s Hospital in Tel Aviv
Private room after the delivery (with another bed). In the last times we were sharing a room with other women who just give birth. I had to sleep on a chair while Atzva had to deal with other people and their visitors while she just wanted to rest. The laptops are near the window, are mine, as I was working during the time Atzva and Dub were sleeping.
Dub is being checked by the doctor in our private room. The hospital allows the babies to stay in the nursery at night, but they need to be with the parntes during the day and the doctors and nurses visit the rooms. Atzva asked all our kids to be with her all the time from the first moment.
Sushi and more Sushi. Along with Alcohol and Kannabis, sushi is also something pregnant woman are not allowed to consume (raw fish are more sensitive). So the first thing Atzva asked to eat after the birth was Sushi.
