Hi,
One of the most attractive activities for kids on Kfar HaNokdim camping was the camel farm.
It is starting with a movie with information and things you (and even I) do not know about the desert ship: the origin of the camels is from North America, and the Lamas are family relatives; they were used by armies in the desert; they can live up to 50 years; that there are 160 words for camel in Arabic: they spit as a defense mechanism and so on…
Then you go down a bridge and get a touch to feed the camels with nostly carrpt out of steel plates.
If you really want, you can join a ride on a camel on a carvan that goes around the desert

Camels can run at up to 40 miles per hour – same as horserace!
Camel milk is very notorious and known as superfood! It is low in suger & contains a high level of vitamins and minerals
There are two types of camels: the one humped “Dromedary” (most common) and the two humped “Bactrian” (Endangered)
When a camel finally does find water, he can drink up to 40 gallons in one go!
Camels are very strong animals and can carry up to 900 pounds for 25 miles a day
Healthy camels with significant fat stores in their hump can survive without food or water for couple of weeks
Camels have three sets of eyelids and two rows of eyeleads to keep sand out of their eyes
