How come Israel still needs to explain its right to exist as a Jewish country? How come we as Jews still need to explain our right to exist as people?
Israel war in Gaza is not the first war in history. It is not the first war of Israel, and this is not the first war that Islam is involved or is it against the Islam Jihad ideology.
Still, Israel needs to explain how it is that people are killed at war in which it defends itself. Even though 1,400 people (citizens and soldiers) were slaughtered at the Black Sabbath, we need to explain why we are attacking Hamas posts.
The citizens of Gaza were called before to evacuate from areas to be attacked, and they are sometimes held as hostages by Hamas to be used as human shields.
Massacres and wars happen around the world, not only by Muslims but also by them. Just a list of these wars in which Muslims are killed (most of the times by Muslims) : Syrian civil war (more than 500,000 killed), Yemen civil war (more than 375,000 killed), Myanmar civil war (40,000 killed). And yet, no international protests are being held against those wars currently happening in the world.
But that is not only the numbers and the ignorance of Israel of Israel right to exist. It is the unbelievable use of horror pictures from the above-mentioned wars and publishing those as pictures from the war in the Gaza strip.
Over it, it seems many of the freelancers’ photographers of international media seem to have taken part in the coverage of the attack on Black Sabbath. Meaning they followed the massacre on that day, taking pics of the horror along with the terrorists…
