Hi,
Hezbollah is walking on the edge and checking the patience of Israel. Israel really wishes to avoid opening another front while maneuvering on Gaza strip, but it seems to be Inevitable.
Yesterday, Hezbollah had pushed the edge a little bit more: firing 30 rockets towards the Karyot, firing an anti-Tank missile at Electric Company truck which was working near the border (killing 5 civilians we worked in the company and injuring 10 more).
Today, another anti-tank missile was fired at a settlement at Israel – Lebanon border injuring citizens. Mortar shells are also fired from Lebanon today, but those fell on open areas – not causing damage or injuries.
Do remember that the Israeli settlements along the border with Lebanon have been evacuated for a couple of weeks already. People living there will not come back unless the situation is completely quiet.
And even then, there will still be the question hanging above their head – what prevents Hezbollah from attack those settlements along the border the same way Hamas attack led on the black Sabbath (07.10.2023)?
At that face, it is only a matter of time before this war. will expend to the northern borders of Israel (both Syria and Lebanon borders).
The war in Gaza continues as IDF continues to make its way slowly, but surely as possible towards the inner neighborhood of the city and the underground maze of attack and defense tunnels of Hamas.
