This is the 100 of war. There are still 136 hostages in the Gaza strip. And there does not seem to be any progress in the negotiations on another hostage deal. On the other hand, no hostages have been rescued.
A big protest took place yesterday in Tel-Aviv in a call fot the government to take steps to release the hostages. Those protests are mixed now with protests against the government that yesterday even blocked Ayalon Highway, something not seen since Kaplan protests against the judicial overhaul.
100 days had passed since Hamas attacked Israel on the black Sabbath (on October 7th) but this war does not seem to end soon. Many reserve duty soldiers are still drafted or, as I am, had been released for a couple of months and are going back again for a couple of months of duty.
And as the war on Gaza intesivity is being reduced, the other frontiers are getting warmer and might soon explode:
The west bank has a daily terror attacks on soldiers and civilians. Yesterday terrorists tried to penetrate the settlement of Adora.
The north border is being hit daily with Hezbollah anti-tank missiles, which damaged many buildings on the settlements along the border, and today, it took the life of two civilians.
The frontier against the Houtis is now under the USA, and the coalition against it had hit several Houti attacks this week.
I have spent most of the days of the war in reserve duty in Golan heights as Atzva was fighting to keep her mental health and take care of Jannaeus, Mindal, and Dub.
