Hunting Hamas – 217st day of war

Hi,
It may not nice to say so, but we are hunting people, and to be more specific – not just people, but Hamas terrorists. Well, this is more the job of the infantry soldiers,  and some of those infantry soldiers are even wearing patches on their uniforms or vests of Hunting Hamas terrorist Club (the patch shows an army boot crushing the head of a Hamas terrorist skeleton, with the above mention text on top and Happy Hunting text below)

In the middle of Israel there is training facility for  close quarter combat, and urban warfare (you usually visit it once a year, for a full day of military reserve duty to keep us all in shape and fit to hold a weapon on those combats).

When we were training in this facility in the center of Israel before we were sent in the strip, the instructor asked us to stop shouting “Terrorist!” each time we are seeing a terrorist figure target and just pull the trigger and hit it.

He had a very clear and easy to understand explanation:”When a hunter sees a deer, does he shoot ‘A deer!’? No he does not. Because the deer will notice him and run away from him. You should do the same as you are hunting terrorists. Yes, it may not nice to say so, but this is what we are doing  – hunting Hamas terrorists”

Some of the soldiers wearing this patch are documenting pictures of humiliation of Palestinians prisoners with this patch. This had raised waves against those pictures in the world (something I agree with). We do need to catch and bring to justice trail all those Hamas terrorists, but we should not humiliate them (even due, they have done much worse things than that on the Black Sabbath of October 7th).

Take Care
Gad
