The summary of month May north border between Israel and Lebanon, shows we are still keeping the equations, or in other words – this is still bookkeeping between Israel and Hezbollah.
The equations shows that for each rocket/ UAV/ anti-tank missile Hezbollah fires towards Israel, Israel will hit twice or three times more. The numbers of Hamas terrorists that had been killed in this war is about 300, while there are only 11 killed soldiers and civilians in the Israeli side.
The height of the flames, however, keep raising. You can see how month by month more anti-tank missiles are shot, more Israeli civilians and soldiers are getting injured or killed and above it the numbers of UAV penetrations is raising dramatically.
Talking of flames, those numbers and graphs does not show the last week flames that were burning in the north. Those flames are new kind of weapon by Hezbollah to burn Israel into ash.
What will be next, nobody knows. We keep saying this situation cannot go any longer. The north border settlements are empty, and about 80,000 citizens are are outside of their house for more than 230 days.
It might end with some diplomatic agreement, keeping decision 1701 of the UN (as Lobby 1701 demands) or as many other demands – with a war. Better say ground maneuver, just was done in Second Lebanon war or in Gaza strip those days.
We are still on the edge of a war, on a slippery slope towards it. It might be we will wake up someday and realize we are in a war (the numbers and the graphs already shows we are in one), or some event will make Israel and Lebanon take a step up and from this fighting situation we will be in full war situation.
