Unfriend – 362nd day of war

Hi,
I came to the conclusion that we will need to unfriend two couples of friends. Those are the two couples we were camping with in Kfar HaNokdim last Sukot, and woke up to the October 7th attack of Hamas.

I was, of course have been called for military reserve duty on that day. I feel more like a soldier sent home for vacations than a civilian called up for a military reserve duty (I had served 189 days during this year, 51% of the time I was in reserve duty).

We finally met with the first couple again, only about half a year later. It was on April 14th, on the day of the first Iranian attack, and the day I was called up again for military reserve duty by Tzav 8 (for Gaza strip).

The other couple we only met after a year from the camping. And what do you know, two days later came the second Iranian attack and, you guessed right, a Tzav 8 for another military reserve duty for me (this time to Lebanon)

It is pretty clear what is going on here: each time we meet with any of those two couples of friends – Israel is being attacked, and I been called up to for military reserve duty in Tzav 8 to protectthe country. There is only one to stop it all. It will not be nice, but is a sacrifice we will need to make for the best of us all – we will need to unfriend those two couples of friends…

Take Care

P.S. I’m just kidding. We will not unfriend them. We will just keep seeing them twice a year as we did twll nowI being sent out for military reserve duty on the day of the 2nd Iranian attack- unfriend I being sent out for military reserve duty on the day of the 2nd Iranian attack with a big box full of chocolate chips cookies Atzva baked for us
