Weapons – 374th day of war

Hi,
The amount of weapons we reveals and capture is unbelievable. We were sent out with Engineering Corps soldiers to demolish a shaft used by Hezbollah terror organization. Our gathering point was just the building across the street.

The rule says every building need to be cleared before you enter it, unless you high five to other soldiers who already there. We enter the building to see nothing has changed and clear it. There was no intelligence on the building or information and still we found out an AK-47 and a full set of soldier equipment.

In the meanwhile the other in the company entered another building to cover to the engineering corps soldiers on other two buildings – and found such a big weapon they had to wait for the military photographer to cover it and then for the brigade commander before they could destruct it.

Every house here holds Hezbollah weapons. It can be framed or not. It can a small amount or a big one. But every house here is either a house of Hezbollah terrorist or his weapons or ammunition storage place. Or just and entrance to an underground Hezbollah compound.

And our job here is to clean it all up, so the citizens in the empty settlements along Lebanon border can go back home. And Israel can go back to be a safe place and stop this war routine.

And yes, it takes time…

Take Care
