Missile hit in Jaffa – 442nd day of war

Hi,
The Houthi ballistic missile hit in Jaffa just luckily did not end as a disaster. Only 16 were injured, all lightly.

The missile struck a playground that was empty as it was the middle of the night. But it could have hit one of the old apartments building around it and cause many more casualties and more severe.

The carter the hit left in the middle of the playground is not big, but you can see the damage of the shocks waves in the buildings around it – shuttered glasses, damaged walls and columns.

It was the third time we ran to the protected area this week. They were all at night, somewhere around 2:00 to 3:00, but the first was at day while the two others were at night.

The first missile was intercepted completely. The second missile hit a school in the south of the city I lived in – Ramat Gan l. It is not clear if it was part of the Houthi ballistic missile that fell on the school or part of the interception missile. Although the damage caused to one of the school buildings seems to be caused by explosives.

The Israeli reaction to the first two was an airstrike in Yemen. Not the first airstrike of IAF in Yemen in this war (which took place after the killing of an Israeli citizen by a Houthi drone in Tel-Aviv in July this year).

It will probably not the last one. The solution to this front will need to be a combined airstrike attack of a coalition of countries, all suffered from the Houthis ataacks (USA, French, Israel, and so on).

Take Care
Gad
