Jerusalem, Israel

Ima just went out of another surgery. Her wound didn’t heal good, they had to reopen it and to drain the liquids. She is suffering from pains and doesn’t want to take morphine. We now trying to convince her to ask cannabis from her doctor instead of pain relievers.

The country seems to be on a very steep slope. It is like the Jews militants are trying to prepare the ground for the 20th of September as part of what they call “price tag”: what they really mean is “eye for an eye, teeth for a teeth”. If the military evacuate an outpost – they will puncture the tires of the jeeps. And if Palestinians are farming their lands they will cut down their Olive trees. If a left wing reporter writes down something they don’t like – they will graffiti on her house.

The Palestinians, on the other hand, don’t have to do a lot: one word about a soldier/settler that shoot – and all the country might burn…

I don’t know what will happen tomorrow – the Palestinians will ask the UN to accept them as a country. Israel doesn’t like that idea – and therefor will going to clash. The Palestinians are talking about a non-violent protests in which they will march to the settlements in the west bank.

In the matter of fact we thought about it in advance – we are sending Fatma to Poland today for an Holocaust trip 🙂 So if Israel will collapse she can start a new Jewish community in Poland 🙂 just like ancestors lived…
