Petel the cat 🐱

Hi,
In the end of last curfew I have promised Atzva that if there will be another curfew will bring a cat home. So we did – we joined Petel the cat to our family 🙂

Petel means Raspberry in Hebrew. We have a famous book called Mitz Petel (Rubus juice) of rabbit with this name. In Jerusalem it also means juice from syrup, so you can ask for Petel in apple flavor… 😆. We don’t know why she it got that name, but we decided to keep it (as we did with Arieh)

Arieh had passed away over about a year ago. Jannaues asked for a cat for a long time. He has a cat puppet that he named, guess what, yep – Arieh.

I have postponed the decision from last curfew, as the idea had raised pretty late abd we had the thought of have a kitten that will need a 24 hours care.

Why did I promised it to Atzva and not to kids? Or Atzva to the kids? Well Atzva was who asked to bring Arieh and later on Xuxa at first and took care of.

But with Jannaeus and later Mindal, the responsibility moved on to me. So naturally I was given the decision when to bring the cat (not if 😏…
Only when 🙂)

Take Care
Gad
