The Buzz – 90th day of War

Hi,
I did not notice the buzz at first. It was probably there all the time. You can hear it clearly when you open your window at home or at the office or walk in the street.

It took me a very long time to notice it, from the time I am back home. Maybe it was because I got used to it during the two months I spent on reserve duty on the north, just one of the backgroundsounds. More probably, it is because it was just one noise among the many you hear when you are in the city.

You need a quiet morning before you can notice it. But from the point you notice it, you realize it is there. It is always there.

You are wondering what this buzz is? Well, so am I. In the north, it was pretty easy to guess – it was an unmaned aeriel vechile over our head. It was up all day and all night looking for Hezbollah targets (it might have been only the observation  UAV, while the firing came from another UAV, IAF aircrafts, artillery or tanks).

But in the north, we have war (or we are on the edge of it, depending who you ask). It is very reasonable to have a UAV buzzing around all time, but back home it Ramat-Gan?

It seems we have our own observation over the most populated center of Israel. To keep an eye over it from Iranian UAV (or their proxies: Houtis, Hamas or Hezbollah)

It seems Guri it about to be released. His team is now out of Gaza strip and it was sent down to a base in the real south to cool down before sent home (finally).

Take Care
Gad

The buzz can be heard clearly when you open a window or walk outside
