Ismail Haniyeh killing- 291st day of war

Hi,
Ismail Haniyeh is the chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, well he was the chairman as he was killed today in Tehran. Unlike Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, Haniyeh did not live in Israel or Gaza strip or the west bank for a long time (since 2017). He was relocated to Qatar and has an office in Doha.

While his people lives in Gaza strip in poverty and living on Qatar money, he was living the good life of luxury in Qatar. And no, the poverty they are living in, is not because Israel, but because of his and fellow leaders of Hamas and their decision what to do with the money the got: dig tunnels, buy weapon and ammunition and get ready for war.

Nobody exactly knows how this the killing was done, and again by who. Some say it was in an airstrike by an IDF aircraft taking off from Israel, others claims it was an anti-tank missile shot from the high mountains around Tehran that hosts a ski site, there is a claim he was killed by explosives being hidden in the room for a very long time.

Anyway it was a very brave, accurate and heroic action. Now, about the consequence –  Haniyeh was killed in an explosion in Teharn, as a guest of Iran. Iran had already blamed, and decided the killing was done by Israel. Hamas is also an ally of Iran.

Iran is threatening to hit Israel back. Just as it threaten after the killing of Iranians advisors Iran embassy in Damascus in April. Then the result was an attack of ballistic missiles and explosives drone launched from Iran towards Israel about two weeks later.

The result of the attack was one Bedouin girl injured. But the whole country was waiting for the response for 10 days. I guess we are back to this situation – waiting for the response.

Take Care
Gad
