A garden on the window

Hi,
We live in an apartment on the second floor of a condo building, it means we don’t a garden =/. But we do have a lot of water. Yes, a lot of water, In the middle of the Israeli hot summer. “How?” you ask, pretty simple – air condition. because we are on the second floor and we have two floors above us, it means we can collect all the water the AC above us produce. Believe it or not, they produce pretty much, more than we can use!

We also have a lot of sunlight. That is really not a problem here in Israel. But we are facing the South, so we had too much of it 🙂

We collected stuff from the streets (plantation, fertilized soil, steel hangers for the plantations), and made us a garden =). First we plant some Mint, Hyssopus, that we know that love water and sun. but then we decided we need some diversity and we ask Guri (my little brother) for some plants. We got eggplant and squash, and much more. We also found some cactus in the garbage (people throw away treasures in this neighborhood…). And watch what we got!

Take Care
