Hi,
I am back to Kaplan again to protest, as many others who used to ptotest here during the days before October 7th, against the judicial reform.
It was the murder of the six hostages by Hamas terrorists about a week ago that made people realize this government does not do enough to make a deal to release the hostages.
For 11 months now, we have been used to hearing about another hostage declared dead. We did not stop to think if they were already dead when they had been kidnapped on October 7th from their home or base.
And so the number of hostages in Gaza strip, dead or alive, has been slowly decreased. But the understanding that Hamas terrorists are murdering hostages if they think they might be rescued – gave us all a clear sign that without deal, we will not see more live hostages out of Gaza strip.
On Sunday, hundreds of thousands of people went out to protest. Along with the workers’ organization (The Histadrut), along with private and public business, went on a strike to try and make a change. When the Histadrut went on a strike dring the protests against judicial reform, it was a big step to stop the reform. I do hope that will happen now as well.
And also now, in Kaplan- there are many more people than the last time I have been here. Will it last? Could the protest last and manage to make a change? Bring a hostages deal or stop the war? I am not sure , but this is the least I can do.
Take Care
