It was another step up today as Israel strike down and killed Taleb Abdallah in Jwaya, Lebanon.
Taleb was the Hezbollah commander of the eastren part of the Israeli Lebanon border. That means he was responsible for all the attacks that were launched on Israel in this sector.
Including all the rockets, missiles, anti-tank missiles and UAVs that were launched on me and ny company during the line we were along Lebanon border, sitting as ducks in the shooting range.
Hezbollah reaction was not late to come: 215 rockets, mortar shells, anti-tank missiles, heavy rockets and UAV were lanched towards Israel.
The attack was aimed southern Hezbollah had aimed till today. The number of items was alsothe highest since the war against Hamas in Gaza strip began.
And still, this is only another step in this fighting between Hezbollah and Israel. The bookkeeping is kept: Israel killing an higher rank officer, Hezbollah lit up north of Israel, firing more items and more south.
We are in the situation of edge of war, on this slippery slope towards a full scale war with Hezbollah for the past 8 months. No one knows what will be the last push to it, and we are all just sit amd wait for it.
