Hi,
I open the newspapers in the last week and I realize how much we are not what we thought we are.
We imagine ourselves as country which is the state of the art, Light to the other nations, leading the progress of the world to a better future.
The fact is that we are a third world country. We can hide behind Intel factories, and centers of big Hi-tech companies but we cannot handle basic things.
That started 3 weeks ago. When a subscribers of big cellular company couldn’t make phone calls for a whole day. Of course – this can happen in a progressed country. But the reaction was a total Chaos…
Then came the fire. Burning mount of Carmel. It was not so bad if 42 people died when captured in a burning bus. That raised the whole problem that we just cannot handle fire more then a small one. That the firefighters are not organized as a whole country organization, that we are still too proud to ask for help. We send help to all over the world – but some stupid proud prevent us to ask it 2-3 days before.
