Semien Mountains, Ethiopia
Hi,
Lately people in the media has started telling us how good it is to squat and shit, and not to sit on toilets.
Because Israel considered to be a Western country, we shit on a toilet and not squat.
In some cases you need to squat and shit: Scouts, family and school hikes and later on in the army and on the “after army trip”.
Now I know, that not only the open space and the view is what makes those shitting so good
Take Care
Gad
Of course someone will find a way to use it to sell stuff to Americans…
The squatting toilet on the campground
The sunrise over our tent in the campground
Making tea over our diesel stove
Looking back on what we climbed slowly
Just to help you realize how high are those cliffs are
More points of view to the cliffs
The red-orange-yellow flower on the edge of the cliff
And here we started climbing..
Baboons! Gelda Baboons
The view from the top…
I wonder what it was like without the fog
A single bird on top of the mountain
A cliff? End of the world? who knows…
The end of the downhill trail, we can see the road!
The village near the campground
… and the rest of tents on the campground
We walked along those cliffs, If there was no fog when we were there I would probably couldn’t walk there from fear I slip and fall
The pump the village use for water.
Hiding inside one of the hikers hut in the camp site
One of the huts of the village – look on the smoke that goes out of it.
It comes from the cooking stoves that used inside it. That is one of the problems EWB try to solve.
