I work about an hour an half away from home (15 min of riding my bike 🚲 to train, an hour train 🚂 and another 15 minutes of riding my bike 🚲). For Atzva it is stressful: the last 4 delivery facebook posts she had read ended in no more than 4 hours 😱. One of them was in parents settlement, when the woman gave birth in the car in settlement gate.
Tuesday morning Atzva had unregular contractions: between 20 and 30 minutes apart. And she afraid to let me go to work. We waited 3 hours to see it doesn’t progress.
In my mind I have my co-worker story about his second girl delivery. Back then he work with me in Kiryat Gat while living in Haifa (2 hours driving, when there is no traffic… 🚗🚌🚕🚚🚙). While in a meeting he got an SMS from his wife – I am having contractions. After what he had with his elder children deilivery, the guy took his time. We finished the meeting, closed some open ends before leaving. Later he will tell us how he got home, they cleaned the house, ordered and ate pizza 🍕 and only then left for hospital 😄.
The problem is the we don’t know when the contractions are for real. Jannaeus delivery started when Atzva water broke – a clear sign we should get to the hospital. Wonder how it will be this time 🤔.
We decided to get to the nearest hospital, unlike the first time. That so I can back to Jannaeus and give him the quailty time he needs. Our luck it is the better hospital – last time there was a plauge in delivery room so we had to a diffetent one.
